August~ Grand Caverns Church Picnic---Our annual church picnic will be held on Sunday, August 23rd 2009, at Grand Caverns Regional Park in Grottes, shelter #2. We will eat supper at 5pm but all are welcome to come earlier and enjoy hiking, tennis, miniature golf, or tour the caverns. Please note: the swimming pool is closed this year! (It is in need of repair, and funds are not available). Grilled hot dogs and paper and plastic products will be provided. Bring some food to share, drinks, and any sports equipment and join the fun. September~ Youth Group starts back up
We are holding our Annual Steak Supper on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 4PM – 7PM at the Church located on 10106 McGaheysville Road. The cost is $10.00 per plate. Tickets can be purchased in advance and will also be available at the door. Take-out orders are available. The Steak Supper is sponsored by the McGaheysville UMC Men’s Group. To purchase tickets in advance or for questions, call the church at 540.289.5445.
