Rejoicing in God, realizing our faith, reaching our neighbors...all for the glory of God!
11:00 WorshipOur 11:00 worship time is in the tradtional format using liturgy, hymns and a structured format. We have a wonderful choir that is lead by a professional Music Director. The music for this service is provided by an organ and piano.
*Nursery service is provided every sunday by our trained and screened Nursery Staff
Children and their safety is as important to us as it is to you. Therefore, we do not let just anyone work with our children and serve in our nursery. Everyone who works with children and serves in our nursery has been hand selected, screened, and trained to ensure the utmost protection and proper care of your children. We also have a nursery pager system. When you bring your child to our Nursery, you will be issued a pager so that we can contact you in the event that your child needs you.

Worship Themes for 2010
*These Worship Themes apply to both our 11:00 worship service and our 8:33! Praise service*
August 29 1 Corinthians 1: 4-9 “God Understands”
Theme: Today we will be reminded that no matter what happens in our lives,
no matter how tired and weary we may become, God understands us and is ready and willing to help us.
September 5 Acts 10: 34-43, Holy Communion
September 12 Romans 5: 1-5, “Rejoicing in Suffering” Grandparent’s Sunday
Theme: Have you ever celebrated when things go wrong? Probably not. Yet,
today we will learn that we can rejoice even when we are suffering because God is always with us.
September 19 Matthew 13: 3-9; 18-23, “And the Seed Will Grow”
Christian Education / Sunday School Sunday
Theme: Just like when we plant seeds and they do not immediately grow, we
must remain consistent in teaching our children about God so that their faith will grow in time.
September 26 Bishop Charlene Kammerer Church Anniversary Sunday
October 3 Acts 13:26-37, World Communion Sunday
October 10 Deuteronomy 6: 4-9, “How to Save Our Families” Children’s Sunday
Theme: Today we will learn that the problems our children face each day are
not what we think they are. Satan is the biggest threat that we have. Today we will learn how to deal with Satan and his impact on our children.
October 17 2Kings 5: 1-15, “Pride and Prejudice”
Theme: Sometime pride gets in the way of us doing the right thing. Today we
will learn from a very important man named Naaman, that if we simply humble ourselves and trust God, things will turn out much better.
October 24 Matthew 25: 31-46, “The Light Never Turns Green”
Theme: We all know people who easily let the problems and disappointments
of their lives get them down. Today we will learn how we can reach out to them in new and relevant ways.
October 31 John 15: 1-8, “Staying Attached to the Vine” All Saints Sunday
Theme: If we really want to enjoy the “good life” that God has planned for us
to have, then, just like a plant, we must stay attached to our source of power and nourishment. Today we will find out how to do that.
November 7 Acts 13:38-41, Holy Communion
November 14 Mark 9: 38-50, “Who is on Our Side?” Veteran’s Sunday
Theme: We live in a world that is constantly trying to take advantage of us.
Today we will learn that no matter what happens, God is on our side and will take care of us.
November 21 XX, “XX” UM Women’s Sunday
November 28 Luke 10: 25-37, “Clenched Fists or Open Arms?”
Theme: There are people all around us who are different than us. As
Christians we know that God calls us to embrace them and reach out to them. The question today is “Are we doing it in love or are we doing it
reluctantly?”
December 5 Acts 17: 22-31, Holy Communion
December 12 Choir Cantata Sunday
December 19 Luke 1: 39-55, “How Well Do You Sing?”
Theme: Christmas is a time for singing, yet many people feel like they have
no reason to sing. Today we will learn that because God is with us, everyday is a day for singing and praising Him.
December 24 Isaiah 9: 6-7, “What Did You Get For Christmas?” Christmas Eve
Theme: On this Christmas Eve, as we are thinking about all the gifts that are
being received, we will talk about the greatest gift that we can ever receive; salvation through Jesus Christ.
December 26 1Corinthians 1: 18-31, “Are We Wise or Foolish?”
Theme: We all know what it means to be wise, and we all know what it
means to be foolish. Today we will learn that God has a different standard and we may have it all backwards!
